HERNDON, Va. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 15, 2011 — In response to numerous requests from the agency community, [acronym] Magazine announced today it will extend the deadline for the [acronym] Magazine Public Sector CAD Awards to October 14, 2011.
The program is open to all federal, state and local government agencies to share the creative ways they have used digital design/CAD software to improve the performance of their agency and enhance the delivery of citizen-centric services.
“The decision to extend the deadline for nominations was made to accommodate the large response we received from various agencies that wish to participate but were unable to make their submissions by the original deadline,” said Caron Beesley, Editor, [acronym] Magazine. “We are pleased with the response we’ve seen so far and feel confident the extension will give those who still wish to participate the time they need to submit their nominations.”
Celebrating the Best in Public Sector Digital Design
Focused on giving public sector organizations the opportunity to gain recognition, foster innovation and share their achievements across the government community, the program will honor winners at an award luncheon and showcase winning entries at www.acronymonline.org and in the media.
The submission process is easy – just use our online nomination form to describe the challenge or problem your agency sought to overcome, what has been accomplished with the application of digital design/CAD technology, successes achieved, and the overall impact on your agency! Awards are open to federal, state and local government organizations, as well as the contractors that support them.
